A weekend on the little Prangli island in the Gulf Of Finland


Jägermeister is very popular on the island Maire (our guide) and the source of natural gas Locals sometimes cook their food here, by putting pots on the metal rods below This can keep you warm during harsh Estonian winters Prangli is the only place in Estonia where natural gas is found, but locals don't use it seriously There are 4 drilled holes on the island where you can get some gas for free A/L Eestirand was bombed by German and Finnish forces near the island in 1942, killing 50 people from about 3000 onboard Inside of the Lutheran church The priest is preparing to the Sunday's religious service All-natural brand new earring Prangli, as all of Northern Estonia, is reach with The island used to have its own fish smoking facilities The only open-air 'bar' on the island, open when window is open, closed when the window is closed :-)
